ThermoFlow is a companion app for a smart heated coffee dripper, designed to make temperature control clear, precise, and effortless. The interface allows users to monitor the current water temperature, set a target temperature, manage multiple connected devices, and adjust essential heating settings from different screen sizes.
Project Overview
ThermoFlow needed a unified digital experience for monitoring and controlling a heated coffee dripper. Users had to understand the device’s current state at a glance, choose the desired temperature, and manage several connected drippers without navigating through complex settings.
The objective was to create a clear control system that communicates temperature changes in real time and works naturally across personal and shared devices.
Challenge
The main challenge was displaying two closely related values—the current temperature and the target temperature—without creating confusion or adding unnecessary visual complexity.
The product also needed to support multiple connected drippers simultaneously. Each device could have a different temperature, battery level, target setting, and heating status, so users needed a quick way to scan the entire system and access an individual device when more control was required.
A further challenge was adapting the experience across phones, tablets, and larger monitors while preserving the same hierarchy, functionality, and interaction logic.
Results
ThermoFlow resulted in a scalable interface concept that makes a technically complex connected-device system feel focused and approachable.
